Geocache Description:
Las Vías
Verdes son antiguos trazados del ferrocarril de vía estrecha en desuso,
recuperados para el paseo no motorizado y la práctica del deporte al
aire libre. La Vía Verde del Pas recupera la desaparecida línea férrea
de la Feve entre Astillero y Ontaneda, que funcionó entre 1902 y 1973.
El paseo tiene 34 Km de longitud que discurren siguiendo el cauce del río Pas; es totalmente llano y puede recorrerse tanto a pie como en bicicleta.
Iniciando el paseo en el centro de Puente Viesgo, frente al Palacio de Fuentes Pila (actual
Casa Consistorial), se pueden tomar dos direcciones: Hacia Pomaluengo
(donde finaliza en la Colegiata de Castañeda), o hacia Soto Iruz (donde
finaliza en el santuario de la Virgen del Soto, patrona del Valle de Toranzo). A escasos metros del Ayuntamiento se encuentran la antigua estación de ferrocarril y la locomotora Reyerta.
Es una zona ideal para disfrutar en familia con columpios para los más pequeños y zonas de descanso.

Dieser Cache ist auf geocaching.com (GC52EH7) archiviert und hier nicht mit dem Attribut "OC only" versehen. Das letzte Funddatum liegt lange zurück und das Ownerlog auf geocaching.com läßt darauf schließen, dass der Cache gewartet werden muss. Aus diesem Grunde archiviere ich ihn auch hier. Sollten sich später neue Aspekte ergeben, so kann dieses Listing durch den Owner selbständig über ein "kann gesucht werden"-Log reaktiviert werden.
