The coordinates are not the cache itself but the starting point for the hunt. Not far away in the summer there is a place to get fresh strawberrys and other fruits.

During the hunt you have to find a hint to tell you where the cache is hidden.

The way totals a length od app. 3 km - as long as you do everything correct.

At the startingpoint there is a grey switchbox and three coloured signs. Ignore the lower green sign. On the signs there are numbers (integer and decimal) and letters. Now up to some kind of brain-work:
You add the numbers after the large letters and get P.
Take the highest odd digit of the decimals and you get T.
Now calculate:
((P:10)-12):T=Y

On the green Sign is a big letter that commonly stand for a direction. Add to it 90° and off you go.p> After 720 m you'll see a tree with a metal construction at. Name that tree with a number (X):
2 = birch
7 = lime
9 = oak
5 = spruce

Now you have the following coordinates.
N 53°50.YXX E 10°21.X01

At that point is a tree (oak) where you'll get more information.

Dieser Cache ist auf geocaching.com archiviert und hier nicht mit dem Attribut "OC only" versehen. Das letzte Funddatum liegt lange zurück und die Logs bei geocaching.com lassen darauf schließen, das der Cache nicht mehr existiert. Aus diesem Grunde archiviere ich ihn auch hier. Sollten sich später neue Aspekte ergeben und der Cache wieder aktiviert werden, so kann dies durch den Owner selbstständig über die Funktion "Cache bearbeiten" erfolgen.

Eigentlich wollte ich ja bloß bis zur Zwischenstation kommen m beim nächsten Mal vorbereitet zu sein.
Aber die Beschreibung klang relativ harmlos und so habe ich es dann doch gleich versucht.
Aber ganz so einfach war es dann doch nicht. Ich wusste zwar immer wo ich hin musste, aber wie hinkommen? :-)
Leider gab es offenbar von keiner Seite einen Weg, der nicht über Felder führte, was ich nicht so prickelnd fand. Aber vielleicht habe ich auch einfach was falsch gemacht!?

Aber eine schöne Final-Location. :-)

Der hat richtig Spass gemacht. Allerdings muss ich zugeben, bei den derzeitigen Witterungsverhältnissen, sollte man das Fahrrad stehen lassen.

Super Schatzzzz... Hat uns trotz Schmuddelwetter vor die Tür gelockt. Der Boden war leider nicht mehr gefroren. Wir haben vor Aufregung zuhause glatt den Trade vergessen - Anfängerfehler.
