Description
*** Mission to Mars ***
This cache is hidden in
the Caldera Colorado, a red colored
vulcano which looks like a little bit
like a mountain on Mars.
Good foot wear is absolutely required, because some of the lava
stones might be really sharp and a regular path is not available
(for sure or have you ever seen pathes
on Mars ).
Remember : everything you do, is on your own
risk. So please be careful !
You will get a fantastic view to the Timanfaya
National Park
and the cache locations
around. Olivine (green semi-precious stones) can be found
everywhere.
Leave your car at N29 00.302 W13 41.024 . From this place you can also start to “ El Jameo”.
The cache is hidden
under stones Enjoy it !

We were BETA-Tester for this Cache. When you are looking from the parking position to the vulcano, you possibly will think "This hike is easy!!!", but be careful. There is no way up and on the lava fields inside its tricky to walk on. The reward is a terrific view to the national park. Tanks to He3000 for leading us to such ununsual places.
