Um cozinheiro é uma pessoa que desempenha a profissão de cozinhar. Como Datça é uma península que se estende até o Mar Egeu e uma área turística, a cultura culinária de peixes e azeites desenvolveu-se consideravelmente. O turismo produziu a produção de alimentos de qualidade na região e, portanto, a necessidade de cozinheiros de qualidade. Há uma escola secundária e uma faculdade na área que serve esta necessidade.
