Najbardziej wysunięty na południe publicznie dostępny punkt Europy kontynentalnej to ta część fortyfikacji na półwyspie Isla Tarifa.
Łącząca tama to strefa dla pieszych, Isla Tarifa nie jest dostępna dla turystów. Wyjątkiem jest obszar, w którym znajduje się pamięć podręczna. Należy jednak udać się do skrytki podczas odpływu, zmoknąć podczas przypływu i może to być bardzo trudne, gdy fale są duże.
Zejdź pod mury twierdzy, zawsze wzdłuż wody, wokół bastionu. Następnie w górę i użyj tam zdjęcia spoilera.

18 July 2023 wuffy found the geocache

Hurra, ich fand den südlichsten Festlandcache Europas. Nun ja, also im Logbuch stehe ich als STF drin, bzw. sehr dünn drin, da das Papier sehr durchweicht ist. Der FTF scheint ja im Team gewesen zu sein. Vermutlich kann der Owner nicht so schnell wieder kommen um eine Wartung durchzuführen. Ich lass das einfach mal so stehen und sage danke für den Spaziergang (ich war bei Ebbe da und von daher war alles sehr gut zu erreichen).

Leider war der Wasserstand doch höher als erwartet und die Kletterei über die felsen übel rutschig ,so dass ich das Projekt bergen der Dose notgedrungen abbrechen musste. Dennoch hatte wir einen schönen Spaziergang und konnten ein wenig die regnerische Aussicht genießen.
