Description
The southernmost publicly accessible point of mainland Europe
is this part of the fortifications on the Isla Tarifa peninsula.
The connecting dam is a pedestrian area, Isla Tarifa is not accessible to tourists. An exception to this is the area where the cache is located. However, you should go to the cache when the tide is low, you get wet when the tide is high and it could be very difficult when the waves are big.
Go below the fortress wall, always along the water, around the bastion. Then up and use the spoiler photo there.

Hurra, ich fand den südlichsten Festlandcache Europas. Nun ja, also im Logbuch stehe ich als STF drin, bzw. sehr dünn drin, da das Papier sehr durchweicht ist. Der FTF scheint ja im Team gewesen zu sein. Vermutlich kann der Owner nicht so schnell wieder kommen um eine Wartung durchzuführen. Ich lass das einfach mal so stehen und sage danke für den Spaziergang (ich war bei Ebbe da und von daher war alles sehr gut zu erreichen).

Leider war der Wasserstand doch höher als erwartet und die Kletterei über die felsen übel rutschig ,so dass ich das Projekt bergen der Dose notgedrungen abbrechen musste. Dennoch hatte wir einen schönen Spaziergang und konnten ein wenig die regnerische Aussicht genießen.

Deze cache werd snel gevonden in het prachtige Tarifa in een mooie omgeving. Het logboek was nat en de eerste log werd door mij geplaatst in een nieuw logboek.
