Die Serie SightSeeingVirtualCaches

SSVC: Trinity College
Das Trinity College ist Irlands älteste Universität. 1592 von Königin Elisabeth I. für protestantische Studenten gegründet. Zuerst trug die Institution den Namen "College of the Holy and Undivided Trinity of Queen Elizabeth near Dublin". Zur Zeit seiner Gründung lag es noch vor der Stadt, doch mittlerweile liegt der Campus am College Green mitten in Dublins Zentrum, genau gegenüber den ehemaligen Irish Houses of Parliament. I am happy to log this cache as a second person. Happy to be in Dublin, happy to see some caches on opencaching. I took a guided tour of Trinity College and learned that a Physics Noble Prize laureate was doing research here and as first scientists splitted lithium atom. Perhaps this is what this sculpture is representing.
