This cache is part of the „3 canyons path“. You can also do it in connexion with Triple III. In spite of quite good mechanical protection you shouldn’t take too young children with you!
You have to overcome an altitude of about 180 metres on a length of approximately 1200 metres (this statement refers only to the canyon).
It is forbidden to decend the canyon downwards. The very steep wooden stairs at the exit are very slippery in bad weather!
Hint: Inn “Zur guten Quelle” (www.zurgutenquelle.at)
The cache is located in the middle of the canyon, at the beginning of the great waterfall (regarding the direction of flow).

Auf unserer Fahrt in den Süden haben wir uns in Obervellach ein Weilchen niedergelassen, um u.a. mal die spektakuläre Groppensteinschlucht zu durchwandern 😃👍👍👍
Hier wurden wir fündig, nachdem Kuno zuerst viel zu weit den Hang hinaufgekraxelt war, was üerhaupt nicht nötig ist.

Am ersten Urlaubstag wagten wir uns durch die Schlucht. Natürlich musste ich kurz anhalten und meinen Nick ins Logbuch schreiben. Das war eine ganz tolle Wanderung. #################

Trotz des ausdrücklichen Betretungsverbots des Bachbetts herrschte am Cache reger Badebetrieb einer uneinsichtigen Großfamilie.

Dem fündigen Cacher wurde glücklicherweise keine Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt. ☺️
