The first official mention from Mutterstadt in the Codex Laureshamensis was a donation in 767 AD. Founds on Graves from a time period 200-250 years earlier shows a settlement before the first mention.
Perhaps the name of this first village was Farenheim. It changed during the eight century to Mutherstath or Muoterstat.

From the starting point, a parking area and area for festivities, we'll do a little trip ( about 5 km) through today's Mutterstadt.

Unser erster Cache, und gleich gefunden.
War eine lustige Tour. Wir sind zu Fuß durch den gesamten Ort gewandert um am Ende festzustellen, dass der Cache nicht mal 100m Luftlinie von zu Hause entfernt ist ;-)

Eine wirklich interessante Runde durch ganz Mutterstadt :-) Lediglich am Kantorhaus stand ich ein bissel auf dem Schlauch, da das Hinweisschild mit Efeu zugewachsen ist. Lustig war, dass zwei Erzieherinnen des benachbarten Kindergartens der gleichen Einrichtung noch nicht einmal wussten, was ein Kantorhaus ist...tstststs. Letztendlich wurde ich aber hier auch fündig. Die Rechenaufgaben sind gut zu bewältigen, man muss eben nur gründlich sein und wissen, wie die einschlägigen mathematischen Regeln lauten. Somit war es ein Leichtes, das Final zu finden. Habt Dank für Cache #554, gefunden um 10:35 Uhr.

der zwei!! Fehler bei der ersten Station durften wir gleich zwei
Ehrenrunden drehen. Gott sei Dank kamen wir mit den Rädern aus Maudach.
Somit ging alles etwas schneller.
