This Cache is part of a series of 7 micros, guiding you to some well known vineyards in the Rheingau. In each of the series' caches you'll find a hint consisting of vintage and grape variety which will help you to find the bonus cache.
Steinberg
Against grape thieves and wild animals the cistercian monks of the Eberbach monastery built a wall 3.8 km long around this vineyard. This protection against cold winds now leads to specific climatic conditions which makes the Steinberg unique in Germany. It is exclusively owned by the Hessian state vinery and the greatest connected vine acreage in the Rheingau.

Position war gut zu finden und war ein spaßiger Tag im Rheingau. Wir haben den Cache zu viert gesucht und nicht gefunden, leider. Schaut mal ob er noch da ist oder wir einfach zu blöd. Das kann ja manchmal passieren.
Haben erst danach den Weinstopp eingelegt.
