?Ein Arboretum (lat. arbor ?Baum?) ist eine Sammlung (nicht in Pflanzgefäßen wachsender) verschiedenartiger, oft auch exotischer Gehölze; dies kann beispielsweise ein botanischer Garten sein, in dem hauptsächlich Bäume und Sträucher angepflanzt werden.?Auf einem meiner vielen Ausflüge in die Umgebung von Gommern habe ich diesen Ort gefunden.
Bisher war mir nicht bekannt, dass es in dieser Gegend etwas derartiges gibt. Aber man lernt ja bekanntlich nie aus. ;-)
Der Cache versteckt sich an den Koordinaten und bietet Platz für größere Tauschobjekte.
An Arboretum (lat. Arbor => tree)
Is a collection of (not in a plant container grown) plants, usually different, often exotic wood; for example a botanical garden in which generally trees and scrubs are planted.On one of my several trips in the neighbourhood of Gommern I discovered this place. Until now I wasn?t aware of this place, but as you know you never stop to live and learn.
The Cache itself can be found at the coordinats, there is also place for bigger barter objects.

Die Koordinaten haben wir per Telefon von TrickyMD erhalten,
als wir auf den Weg zu Halloween Hollow waren, also kurzer Stop und etwas erstaunt geschaut,
daß hier tatsächlich, mitten im Nirgendwo, ein Arboretum existiert.

6/9 um 15.40 Uhr
Auf "Halloween-Tour" mit sunshine33 stolperten wir regelrecht über diesen Cache. Er stand zwar auf der Liste, aber das GPS war auf Halloween-Hollow eingestellt. Wir parkten also und wollten gerade los marschieren, als mir das Wort "Arboretum" ins Auge sprang. Na sowas! Als fix die Suchreihenfolge getauscht und erstmal hier geloggt und eine Runde in dem "wilden Garten" gedreht. [;)]

Tja, was es nicht alles gibt! Allerdings hab ich noch nicht verstanden, warum sowas angelegt wird. Zumindest heute im Dunkel und ohne Blätter sahen alle Bäume dort wie ganz gewöhnliche Bäume aus. [:D] TFTC sagt TrickyMD
