Das Bild zeigt die alte Poststelle von Nieste. Das Haus wurde 1912 durch Martin Zinke erbaut. Das Fachwerk ist aus Fichtenholz.

Die „alte“ Poststelle befand sich in dem Haus von 1943 bis 1965. Sie wurde von der ledigen Erna Zinke (*25.9.1900 bis 29.5.1980) geführt. In den Jahren 1920 bis 1930 hatten Sophie Zinke (geb. Käse) und ihre Tochter Erna eine Nähstube in diesem Haus. In dieser Nähstube konnten junge Frauen das Nähen lernen.
