Description
Occombe Woods is an area of sloping woodland between the Preston
Down Area and the Combe Road area of Preston, Paignton. There are
several paths through the woods, and superb views from the higher
side green clearings. Check out the view from N50 27.080 W003
33.878
The cache is a 1.9 Litre Klip'n'Lock container, painted green,
holding the usual logbook, pen, and at the time of hiding, some
items of GeoSwag. Although the woods are popular with dog-walkers,
the area the cache is situated in is away from the main exercise
route. Some stealth whilst near the cache would be advisable.
