Springs
This cache will
lead you to the "Emerald valley" above Benitses (Mpenitses). Here
you will find small waterfalls, that are impressive from autumn to
spring, but have less water (or may even be desiccated) during
summer.
Nevertheless this
is a relaxing walk in elemental nature, along decayed and overgrown
houses, leading to a small church.
You can park your
car/scooter at the given waypoint and then take the path from the
small village over the long bridge uphill the mountain.
Alternatively you can take a walk directly from the old town of
Benitses.
The Cache is hidden in a small cavity in the rock, behind a stone (on the right side going up the stairs to the church). Dont' miss the walk through the "tunnel" - here you have the best view to the waterfalls!

Mit meinen beiden Lieblingsmännern auf Sightseeing-Tour ging es heute auf dem Weg hierher... An den Parkkoordinaten unsere "Knutschkugel" abgestellt und den Weg zu den Wasserfällen aufgenommen... kurzer Smalltalk mit Einheimischen, Bewundern der hiesigen Baukunst und liebevollen Gestaltung derer... Die Natur ist hier schon wirklich sehr schön, leider war der Wasserfall bis auf ein paar seichte Bachläufe und Tümpelstellen ausgetrocknet. Es muss spektakulär sein, wenn das Wasser fällt... dafür haben wir unseren Besuch im Döslein dokumentiert und sind irgendwann zurück gewandert 🤗 ein äußerst lohnenswerter Ausflug 🤩🤩🤩

Found it together with my lovely MiriDeLuxe ... our holidays on Corfu
with sun, sea, beach and drinks ... and of course geocaching.
Another day of sightseeing in and around Kekira... with caching... we also found this one.

... und den Anhang machen wir Sachsen für den benachbarten Owner einfach mal auf Deutsch ...
Den Cache haben wir explizit auf unserer Tour angesteuert ... zwar war auch bei uns der Hauptwasserfall furztrocken, aber daneben floss noch etwas Wasser. Und auch so war die Location und der Weg dahin der Hammer!!! ... Vorbei an Einheimischen, die erst verwundert und dann sehr gesprächig waren (ok, mehr mit Händen und Füssen, denn Englisch konnten die auch nicht ... aber wir haben uns verstanden) ... dann alte Pfade und dann noch dieser magische (fast) verlassene Ort, wo wir natürlich alles ordentlich erkundet haben und in und durch jeden Schacht gekrochen sind.
Danke für's Auskundschaften und Verstecken ... so sind wir wieder mal an einen Ort gekommen, den wir als "normale" Touristen nie gesehen und erleben hätten können!

Nach dem Besuch des Achilleions haben wir noch einen Abstecher zu diesem Cache gemacht. An der Kapelle ein kleines Picknick zur Stärkung, dann dank der genauen Positionsangabe, der guten Beschreibung und der Bilder das Versteck schnell gefunden. Beim einloggen das Datum bemerkt: 7. Oktober - Republikgeburtstag. Auch wenn nicht mehr existierend: Herzlichen Glückwunsch!

On the way back to our studio we came to this beautiful landscape. I had only two tasks: drive and carry the pen - and I forgot the pen. :(
