English description:
Hello, and welcome ! This cache will lead you to the the beautiful forest of Altenburg. With over 100 years, the forest has past an eventful history. On first June 1906 Edmund Schmidt exemplified a keen plan in front of 30 invited guests: There should be created a forest next to the city of Altenburg.This happened in the later years. and led to today's urban forest of Altenburg.
To the cache:
Arrived at the coordinates you will find a monument for the founder of the forest, Edmund Schmidt.
Search this monument:
Take a picture of you and your GPS in front of a monument and append it to your answers and to the log, if you like. The only important thing is that no one can read text on the monument, if you will publish a picture. Answer the following questions and send an email to the address identified
a. There are four words on the monument. What are these?
b. Which date is shown on the memoria - the last four nubers ?

Den Stein sieht man ja schon von weitem. Im Gegensatz zu den vielen Nanos in Altenburg war der ganz leicht zu finden.
Kann es sein, dass die Mailadresse nicht funktioniert?
