Beschrijving
The small village of Bodelwitz near the city Pössneck (in the east of the Free State of Thuringia) is the starting point of the short hike. The road B 281 is just 1.55 miles away. The coordinates lead to a mini parking lot with 2 places - there you start. If you are hungry, a family-owned inn has been around the corner since 1734, where Goethe was already dining.
Follow the trail- sign “yellow dot” to SOUTH - at the (sometimes overgrown) hiking trail signpost to the right - and then always uphill and passing a "fake"- signpost ("Seebach - 3 km"). On the way you can snack at harvest time - a meadow with fruit- trees is on the way.
Shortly thereafter, an almost weathered info about the Bodelwitz conglomerate follows (a detour there may extend the trip by 15 min).
At 50°40.807 011°37.245 is a covered resting place with a view to a strange looking mountain, the "Altenburg" (a reef of the Upper Permian). Enjoy the view. Meanwhile, you are on the hiking trail with a “green dot”.
Continue - on the way you will learn a lot about the forest- ecosystem, if you can read and understand German. Approximately 20 double steps after " Information board 9" you leave the path with the “green dot” and continue straight ahead. The forest ends and a junction to the left leads to a meadow. Take the entrance and approach the forest pretty much exactly east. There is an opening at the edge of the forest with two paths leading in. Take the right path (uphill). After a short time you come to a wider path and the “green dot” is back. Follow the wide path to the left. Don't doubt if things get impassable in between. On the panels you will also learn about hornets and wasps.
If you know with which letter the line 13 in the text "Wasps - Real Wasps: (Vespoidea)" begins, nothing can go wrong.

Have fun finding the cache. You always stay on the path. The cache is not more than 5 m next to the path, you don't have to climb!
You don't have to repent. Follow the “green point” until 50°40.837 011°37.503 and there continue roughly towards the north (towards the village). You will certainly find your own parking space. ;-)
The cache was a spontaneous idea that was executed while visiting friends. It's also my first self-placed cache. Unfortunately, the original was buried by a landslide and had to be renewed in May 2018.

Das Wetter war heute zu schön, um den Nachmittag nicht an der frischen Luft zu verbringen. Eine Runde um Bodelwitz bot sich an, verbunden mit einigen Dosenfunden. Hier hatte ich schon vorab versucht, den richtigen Text zu finden aber erfolglos. Unterwegs ging es dann ganz schnell. Vielen Dank fürs Anlegen und Pflegen.

Heute ging es mit InDie12 in Richtung Pößneck, um ein paar Geocaches zu suchen. Bei tollem Wetter sind wir viel gelaufen, es gab ein leckeres Picknick und mit Tradis, Mysterys, EarthCache und 5 Multis eine tolle Mischung.
Dieser Multi bescherte uns eine schöne Wanderung, wenn man sich die Funde dieses Caches so anschaut, scheinen solche Multis wohl nicht mehr so richtig im Trend zu liegen. Das schert uns aber nicht, wir machen sie trotzdem gern. Das Listing versprach einen Picknickplatz, den gab es tatsächlich und der war sogar repariert worden. Natürlich gab es zu unserem Picknick am Schinkenberg auch Schinken. Zwischenzeitlich hatten wir die beschriebene Wegführung des Owners nicht verstanden, aber wir kamen wieder auf Spur und konnten den Cache gut finden. Jetzt entpuppte sich der Multi allerdings als Mystery, denn wir fanden das Originallogbuch vor und nicht ein neues, wie es wohl die Vorfinder vom März angetroffen haben. Danke fürs Legen.

Aufgrund von Wegebaumaßnahmen - kein Witz - ist ein Teil des bisherigen Weges zum Cache verschwunden. Die Beschreibung wurde daher angepasst. Bitte testet die neue Zuwegung und gebt mal Rückmeldung. Danke und viel Spaß!

Alles wieder tutti paletti. Leider ist mit dem alten Final das erste Logbuch verloren gegangen. So ist das Leben. Bitte das neue Logbuch fleißig vollschreiben. Danke! Beschreibung ist jetzt angepasst.

Die Beschreibung auf geocaching.com weicht von dieser hier ab: Fragen und Antworten samt zugehöriger Koordinaten.
Die Nutzungsbedingungen von opencaching.de enthalten unter anderem diesen Punkt:
Ist der Geocache auch auf anderen Webseiten veröffentlicht, so muss die Beschreibung immer auf allen Webseiten aktuell und vollständig gehalten werden. Aktualisierungen der Beschreibung müssen zeitnah auch auf den anderen Plattformen vorgenommen werden.
Der Owner sollte hier dringend das Listing dem aktuellen Stand anpassen, so dass sein Cache auch hier wieder gefunden werden kann; bis dahin setze ich den Status auf "Momentan nicht verfügbar". Sollte innerhalb eines Monats (d.h. bis zum 14.07.2018) keine Rückmeldung erfolgen, werde ich den Cache archivieren
