Description
Dieser Cache ist nicht mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Ihr könnt das Auto in Bagnoli Superiore bei N45° 37.161 E13° 51.938 abstellen.
Folgt dem Rosandra Fluss in östlicher Richtung. Der Sentiero dell' Amicizia nach Botazzo ist ausgeschildert (Weg 1). Am ersten Teil der Strecke: Bademöglichkeit im Flüsschen. Es sind ca. 2 km nach Botazzo. Geeignetes Schuhwerk und Getränke solltet ihr dabei haben. Der Weg ist teilweise etwas ausgesetzt und nur für einigermaßen trittsichere Kinder empfohlen.
Für Fahrräder nicht geeignet. Für Biker gibt es wohl einen Radweg von Sant' Antonio di Bosco nach Botazzo, den wir allerdings nicht selbst ausprobiert haben.
Unterwegs gibt es die Möglichkeit vom Weg aus zur Kirche Santa Maria aufzusteigen.
In Botazzo angekommen, sucht nach dem verwaisten Grenzübergang nach Slowenien. Ihr werdet dort eine recht stabile Cachebox mit einem großen Logbuch finden. Tauschgegenstände dort zu lassen ist nicht möglich, und auch nicht empfohlen. Ihr werdet schon sehen warum.
Für Krimifreunde empfiehlt sich als Lektüre "Der Tod wirft lange Schatten" von Veit Heinichen, wo das Val Rosandra eine Hauptrolle spielt.
In diesem Buch wird auch die kleine Trattoria in Botazzo beschrieben, die bei unserem Besuch allerdings nicht offen hatte. Die Rifugio Mario Premuda des Triestiner Alpenvereins am Parkplatz in Bagnoli Superiore ist zu empfehlen.

found the geocache
Die Wanderung durch das Rosandratal ist sicherlich eine der schönsten Erinnerungen an den Urlaub in Koper. Der Weg entlang des Berghangs war gut zu laufen und die Aussicht auf das Tal, die Felsen und den Wasserfall waren toll. Die Koordinaten am Final zeigen auf ein altes Steinhaus, das gerade restauriert wird. Nicht weit davon habe ich dann die Cachelocation entdeckt und konnte mich ins Logbuch eintragen. Vielen Dank fürs zeigen dieses abgelegenen Weilers und der Umgebung.

The hike through the Rosandra valley was one of the most memorable things which i experienced on my holidays in Koper. The trail at the mountainside was easy to walk and the views to the valley, the rocks and the waterfall were phantastic. The coordinates at the final point to an old stone house which is under reconstruction. Just not far away i saw the cache location and logged my find. Many thanks for showing me this solitary village and the surrounding.

Trovata per caso quest'inverno. Non è una cache ufficiale ma un logbook per il Sentiero dell'amicizia.
