Mit dem Auto bis zum Parkplatz, weiter mit dem Fahrrad und dann den letzten Kilometer zu Fuß. So kommt man sehr gut zur Dose. Und der Fußweg gehört zu den schönsten Erlebnissen. Vielen Dank.

Die Brücke ist offen und renoviert (jetzt eine Holzplankenbrücke. Schöner 6 km Rundweg um die Insel mit herrlichen Blicken, und unterwegs der Cache, nicht allzuschwer. Laut hinterlassenen Notizen dieses Jahr schon mehrfach gefunden. Eine absolute Empfehlung! DfdC

The bridge is open and renovated (now a wooden plank bridge).  Beautiful 6 km circuit around the island with wonderful views, and on the way the cache, not too difficult.  According to notes left, this year already found several times .  An absolute recommendation!  TftC

I really hope the bridge will be repaired some day, but until then you can find an ersatz box at the coordinates N56°09.044 E008°14.400.

This is not the cache I originally created, but still better than nothing. The area is still worth a visit if you like watching birds on the fjord but sadly the hike across the island is not possible at the moment.

Please do not try to cross the bridge until it has been repaired and the gate has been removed, it seems to be dangerous in the present condition!

Well, that's a pickle...

Today I went to see what this is all about and the bridge is definitely closed. It wasn't in a good state last year and it looks like it is just plain hazardous to try to cross it now. Also, it looks like there won't be a new bridge any time soon. (See attached images.)

That leaves me with a cache that cannot be reached by "normal" means. I can't even get there to have a look at the logbook.

On the other hand it is probably still there and can be logged, if you can figure out a way to get to the island. (I'd suggest a boat. I wouldn't recommend swimming all the way, it's probably not such a good idea - Stadil Fjord is not that deep, but probably deep enough to drown in...)

So, I will keep this cache in a "disabled" state for now. I guess as no one can get to the island at the moment, it doesn't block any new caches. Additionally I can't collect the cache box at the moment, so it technically remains logable. Maybe I'll turn it into a T5 or something... ;-)

Unser 2. Besuch auf der Insel loggte uns diesmal bis ans Ende der "Welt".

Gut das es eine Sitzgelegenheit vor Ort gab...so konnten wir uns vor dem Rückweg noch mal stärken;-)

Und wieder einmal ein Platz, der ohne dieses Hobby niemals auf den eigenen Radarschirm gekommen wäre. Auf der Südroute gerieten wir aber zunächst eine Stelle, die nur noch über Privatgelände oder eingezäunte Wiesen geführt hätte. Der Umweg führte dann über die aussenlandetaugliche Piste 09/27.

(Google:) Og endnu en gang, et sted, der ville aldrig være sket uden denne hobby på deres egen radar. På den sydlige rute først, men vi fik en plet, der ville have ført kun på privat ejendom eller indhegnede græsgange. Den omvej førte på de udvendige arealer egnede bane 09/27.
