Den Cache gibt es nicht mehr 

Das sollte für heute die Nummer 2 sein, denn Prisoners of War und dieser hier liegen ja recht dicht beieinander.
Bin auch ziemlich sicher, den richtigen doppelten Baum gefunden zu haben, aber das Versteck scheint leer zu sein. Es sieht so aus, als ob direkt unterhalb des Baumes eine kleine Mulde gegraben wurde, in der die Box wohl platziert war. Darauf lagen Äste und die Erde darunter war sehr locker. Aber auch Buddeln bis ca. 30cm Tiefe brachte nichts zu Tage. Ich bitte den Cachefounder, dies zu überprüfen.

Found by murmeltier!
Wir hatten die Tour schon mit der Topo vorbereitet, sind sie dann aber bei schönem Wetter nochmal ganz gegangen.
Alle markanten Punkte waren gut zu finden, und so kamen wir dann auch zu dem Cache.
Endlich mal eine große Dose.
Von den erwähnten Tieren haben wir allerdings nur die Shirehorses gesehen. Der Rest hatte wohl noch Sommerferien.

The second cache of our tour to stonycreek-land. It was the first letterbox for both me and Alice. We did not approach the starting point in the way suggested in the cache description as we came from the North. We parked close to the graveyard (then distance of which to the starting point is less than 300 meters).

At the beginning it was a bit unsual for me to approach a cache by means of a rather verbose description. I am bad at estimating distances, but fortunately Alice is doing a good job in this respect as in so many other matters as well and moreover she was checking the result of her intuition also by her GPSr.

Unfortunately, we did not meet a single horse today. We also did not encounter any cows. To compensate for this and since Alice is very fond of plants, we made the detour to the plants which are promised in the cache description. I am still, however, not sure which plants are meant.

As we read about then goats, we already expected that they would not be there today either, but to out delight and surprise there were many goats around. At the first attempt we went too far and arrived at a tree close to a barbed-wire fence. As we realized that there would not be any large trees along the next 50 meters, we decided to turn around and search at a place which attracted my suspicion already on our first passing-by. There we found the cache box. The contents is in good condition, but the box has a crack and needs to be replaced.

I used an old stamp which once belonged to the father of Alice as I did not have brought along a stamp to Germany.
The stamp is mentioning a new telephone number - not very creative, but it was the only available choice.

Rehiding the cache was a bit tricky as a mother with a buggy and a dog was having an extended rest nearby, but Alice did a good job in rehiding the cache without being watched.

PS: Those who prefer caches which can be approached just by following the pointer of their GPS, should keep away from this cache.

2h nach Rohu fanden Nala und ich diesen Cache. Eine nette Runde und der zweite Letterbox, den ich finden konnte. Eigentlich gilt: ohne Stempel kein Log!
Zumindestens einen Fingerabdruck hätte mein Vorgänger hinterlassen können. Übrigens befinden sich jetzt Murmeln von Murmeltier in dem Cache (und nicht Neontags).
Die Beschreibung war sehr genau und man konnte getrost das GPS im Rucksack lassen. Danke Christine!
