Stade de la Meinau, Straßburg, Frankreich.
Verwendet für nur ein Weltmeisterschaftsspiel, am 5. Juni 1938. Brasilien hat Polen mit 6-5 besiegert nach Verlängerung. Ernst Willimowski hat als der erste Spieler ebenmals vier Tore erzielt in ein WM-spiel.

Dieses 71.000 Zuschauer fassende Stadion wurde extra für die WM gebaut. Im Halbfinale wurde es zum Schauplatz der Partie Deutschland gegen England. Heute ist es Heimstätte von Juventus Turin (und soll in naher Zukunft umgebaut werden).

Das Estadio Centenario ist das größte Fußballstadion in Montevideo, der Hauptstadt Uruguays. Es war Spielstätte der Fußballweltmeisterschaft 1930 und wird von der FIFA als eines der klassischen Fußballstadien der Welt gelistet.

Eigentlich wollten wir ja heute auf Suche nach realen Caches gehen. Als ich dann aber heute feststellen musste, dass Mic@ schon wieder so einen genialen Virtual gemacht hat, war uns gleich auch noch ein passendes Bild eingefallen.
