Auch diesen hier haben wir schon einmal versucht, damals war die Dose aber definitiv verschwunden. Nachdem uns Gustus den Versteckort bestätigt hat, konnten wir den Cache rasch heben.

Lalex und ich haben zwar gut 15min an der Maschine rumgesucht und reingeleuchtet, nur leider nix gefunden, auch nicht mit dem Hint...
Keine Muggles unterwegs.
Trotzdem, ein interessanter Platz.

Anscheinend haben die Kidds sie entdeckt.
Ich hab eine Neue hingelegt. Mal sehen ob die sich hält.
Wenn nicht werde ich den Cache wohl schließen müssen.

kaum war ich aus dem auto ausgestiegen, hatte ich das objekt auch schon vor augen, und brauchte nur mehr zugreifen...

leider war da ein sehr seltsamer muggel unterwegs...
also hab ich mal eine runde um den park gedreht, aber da war er noch immer da...

nach der zweiten parkrunde is er wendlich weg gewesen, also konnte ich die dose heben und schnell weg zum loggen.

beim zurücklegen wars dann einfacher... ganz ohne muggel...

Dank des Predigers langer Finger konnte sich die Dose unserem Zugriff nicht lange entziehen.

Nach dem unauffindbaren Waldkapellencache haben LC und ich uns mit diesem einfachen Tradi getröstet. Die Location war schon aus großer Entfernung klar erkennbar und der Hint lieferte eine eindeutige Info über die genaue Position der Dose :-)

Haben unsere Mittagspause hierherverlegt und dann den Cache gefunden. Nachher sind wir noch eine Runde mit dem Schaufelraddampfer durch die Wiese gefahren :)

Beim heutigen sonnigen Wetter war die Gegend leider sehr vermuggelt, aber nach kurzen Warten konnte ich den Cache ohne Probleme heben.

Nach dem Friseur noch ein schneller Cache.
Gefunden war er schnell, aber zu viele Muggels :( Nach ein paar Minuten Pseudospaziergang konnte ich ihn endlich rausfizeln :))) Easy zu finden, wenn man lokalen Support (danke an n.wiesenhofers bessere hälfte) hat :)

Schlussendlich konnte das Doserl ohne neugierige Kinderaugen gehoben werden, die geocain war jedoch nicht aufzufinden, haben wir die im Stress vielleicht übersehen (es näherten sich Halblinge)? Wir hoffen.

War heute in Gratkorn, wo ich ja doch ein Jahr lang gearbeitet habe, das erste Mal im Park. Wenn's nicht so laut wäre, wär's eh ein netter Platz.

Na ja, mein einziger und heiß geliebter [;)] TB ist immer noch nicht da, ich werde noch ein bisschen abwarten, ob sich da was tut, und sonst gibt es eben einen neuen.

Disclaimer: This log is just my personal way of keeping track of my geocaching activities. It *does not* critizice the cache in any way.

Those you know me will be able to guess quite easily that this cache does not fit that well my geocaching preferences. I would not have visited this cache today if I had not selected the Rannach botanic garden cache as the one which is suited for dropping off a geocoin.

As I hate caches of the type "go there by car, walk a few meters, log the cache, get back to the car and leave", I came by bicycle. Unfortunately, I do not know a really nice bike route to Gratkorn, a place that suffers from the nearness of too many big roads - probably the price we have to pay for our modern way of living ....

Reading the logs of the previous visitors to this cache, I once again become aware how big the differences between the caching preferences of different cachers are. For me the main and interesting part of a cache is getting to the location - once there, the search and the logging is just something which is a kind of obligatory act to finnish off the story.

I have been several times to the park before, so it was not new to me. Though it is quite nice, I have never thought of this location as the nicest place in Gratkorn, but I have to admit that the reason for that is that I associate locations with Gratkorn which most probably to not belong to the main part of Gratkorn. In any case, I prefer lonesome locations in the forest to an urban park.

I understand why the old machines have been placed in the park, but I have to admit that from my personal point of view they spoil the harmony of a garden like park. In some sense the machines reminded me of some similar constructions at the campus of the University of Karlsruhe in Germany.

When I arrived in the target area, a man was sitting at a bench very close to the hideout. Fortunately, he left soon and so I was able to search for the cache. I found it quite soon. The hideout is well-chosen given the available hideouts and has the advantage that it cannot be reached by dogs. Hopefully the cache will persist at this location which also seems to be used (or rather mis-used) by people who do behave in a way which is appropriate for civilized people. I saw quite a lot of litter around a large bottle of wine (emtpy) directly at the machine which plays the key role in this cache. I did not remove the bottle as two young girls arrived shortly after I had logged the cache and I did not want to pass them with a big bottle of wine.

The cache is in good condition. As it is almost always the case when a micro or small cache contains trading items, I was not happy about having to get out the trading items to be able to put the log book back properly. From my *personal* point of view, logging caches would be less stressful if there existed no trading items. The faster I am able to log a cache and to rehide it without being seen, the better. Maybe this is also the reason why I do not care at all how the container and the log book look like.

Thanks for this cache which will certainly get many visitors. Quick drive-in caches get increasingly popular.

Gestern ohne GPS den Park nicht gefunden, heute wars im menschenleeren Park kein Problem den Cache zu bergen.

Mit Telefonjoker nicht gefunden. Ohne dann doch schnell :-p

So stelle ich mir einen schönen After-work-cache vor. Beim heimfahren schnell gefunden. Ist übrigens schon immer mein Lieblingspark gewesen.

also die marktgemeinde gratkorn hat diesen park ja schön versteckt. ist mir bis jetzt noch nie aufgefallen.

das heben gestaltete sich schwierieg, da in sichtweite des caches einige jugendliche ihren stammtisch veranstalteten. darum bin ich mal nen kaffee trinken gegangen.

bei rückkehr zur location waren die teens weg, jedoch auch das tageslicht und ich hatte natürlich keine lampe mit.
aber trotzdem gefunden.

Das Zielgebiet ist uns ja bestens bekannt! Heute ging Waldschrätin U. los und fand den Cache raschest.

Even though it was already dark and the weather was everything else but nice I decided to go for this cache by bike a few minutes after receiving the new-cache notification. Arriving at the target area I noticed that Gratkorn is obviously short on electricity, as the whole park was covered in darkness - but I had my flashlight, so I found the cache box rather quickly.
Afterwards I went through parts of the park, but it wasn't nice at all since it was dark and foggy. Seeing something move on the ground I discovered a small white mouse on its tour through the park - funny.
On my way back it started to rain so I was completely wet when I arrived at home
