Wir sind den Cache gleich nach dem Fund des Grazer Hopfenblütenteecaches schrittweise angegegangen. Bis zum Abholen dauerte es noch ein wenig...
Heute war es dann so weit. Das Versteck vor allem Dank des Hints schnell ausgemacht, der Cache war allerdings zur neuen Wohnstätte einer Ameisenkolonie auserkoren worden. Nachdem wir die Ameisen und Larven vom Cachebehälter entfernt hatten, mussten wir feststellen, dass die Tarnung den Behälter leicht angeknackst hat und das Logbuch etwas feucht war. Beim Versuch, das Versteck ein wenig zu verlegen, kam ein Mann mit roten Haaren und rotem Bart daher und beschäftigte sich unheimlich intensiv mit den Pflanzen der näheren Umgebung. Fred stellte dann auch fest, dass etwa 10m vom Cache entfernt eine Picknickdecke ausgebreitet war, die - den Decken, die dort lagen nach zu urteilen - dem Mann gehörten, der ebenfalls ein Exemplar umgehängt hatte. Da war an ein Zurücklegen nicht mehr zu Denken.
Nach Absprache mit dem Owner nahmen wir die Dose in unsere Verwahrung. Der große bam, der heute mit fred unterwegs war, würde sich übrigens über eine größere Dose freuen;)

Was lange währt, wird endlich gut. Dabei hab ich mich rundherum verzählt, vermessen und verrechnet, aber die ganzen Fehler haben sich am Ende irgendwie gegenseitig kompensiert. :)

Der übertriebene Bierfreund bin ich zwar nicht (auch wenn's hie und da schon ganz gut schmeckt), und mit den Vereinigungen kann ich auch nicht wirklich, aber der Cache hat, JW_R-üblich, kreative Stages und Rätsel, die mit Hausübung allein nicht zu lösen sind. Stage 2a war leider nicht ganz zugänglich, aber mit ein bisserl Engagement geht's auch. Das Doserl war mit etwas Glück ein schneller Griff.

Nachdem der Hopfenblütentee schon vor einiger Zeit absolviert war, habe ich diesen Bonus in mehreren Schritten erledigt.

Na der wurde auch langsam Zeit. Zuerst hab ich ja beim ersten schon so lange herum getan und dann hier auch noch... Dank j_blue, die mich motivieren konnte den Cache dann zuerst vorgestern nicht, weil finster und Dose weg und heut dafür umso schneller gefunden.
Immer wieder schön am in dieser Gegend!

da ich chr(39)zufälligchr(39) grad in der gegend war mußte ich endlich diesen cache abschließen. die verschiedenen rätsel waren teilweise doch etwas kompliziert (liegt aber wahrscheinlich daran, dass ich die häuser vertauscht habe und dadurch nicht weitergekommen bin.

der final ist auch nachttauglich. eine kleine taschenlampe reicht aus. ein mobiltelefon offenbar nicht ;-)

Changing my mind I visited Stage 1 of this cache yesterday evening - I was too lazy at that point, however to visit Stage 2. I knew already before I arrived at Stage 1 where it would lead me to - I have to admit that this place is not very attractive from my personal point of view, but I understand why this location has been included.

Moreover, I came up with a conjecture that seemed quite reasonable to me and that I wanted to check at home. Indeed, I managed with a little bit of playing around with numbers and with using my knowledge of Graz, I obtain almost all required data. The year at Stage 3 I had to guess - the coordinates I came up with seemed very reasonable.
I believe that I might have came up with this same stream of reasoning even without visiting stage 1, but then I would have had to use some further approximations.

As I wanted at least to have a little bit of physical activity today, I decided however to visit all Stages of this cache. So I first went to Stage 2 - I have passed this place quite often, but never took notice of the text there. Finding the date at Stage 3 was indeed a little bit tricky - it must be much more difficult during the night. To my suprise my guess for the year was almost right - my approximative value only differed by 1. I cannot count how often I have passed Stage 4 and still I have never noticed the faces on the fassade - what a shame!

My feelings about the final stage are a bit ambivalent. On the one hand, I like the area, but on the other hand I would have preferred a slightly larger container at a place at a larger distance from the nearest paths. The GPS-reception was bad and I had to search for a while. Moreover, I also needed a second attempt like aj-gps (I did not go home in between the two, but looked at other candidate trees). I am not that fond of looking for film canisters in such areas, in particular not of the target object is not very easy to identify among the neighbouring objects of the same type. It is a bit tiresome and probably also not very friendly to animals and plants to dig around at the roots of several trees. Hopefully the film canister will stay at its place - I do not have that positive experiences with micros I haved hidden in this way (as intermediary stages).

Thanks for hiding the cache and bringing some details to my attention that I have missed up to now. Thank you as well for sending me X and Y as I was not sure anymore which of the numbers I had jotted down months ago where the bonus numbers.

PS: It is impossible to discover an object at location X if it is located at a different location Y. The geocoin would not even fit into the film canister! I am not a collector of icons, so I do not care about the fact whether the coin is in the cache or not, but for a person who prefers to think logically, the idea of discovering something which is not present is completely absurd.

Thanks to Rabat who helped me with my issue at stage 2b and with reading stuff at stage 3 as I'm currently using my old glasses (new ones are being repaired) and didn't see a thing.
Yesterday evening around midnight I visited the cache area, but didn't find it. Today at daylight I immediately found the micro - at a tree that I had already checked out yesterday..
