Found 18 April 2008 Rhodo Dendron found the geocache

Found 21 January 2007 aj-gps found the geocache

Nice one. Left my bike close to stage #1 - I wonder what that used to be. Had no issues with the following stages, also finding the right path wasn't difficult. I wonder what the previous finders had expected at the bench - if you read the description careful enough you don't need anything there.
At the final location the gps reception wasn't that good, but thanks to the spoiler picture I quickly found the cache box.
Between stage #1 and #2 I met three gothic-style people who I then presumed to be within the object at stage #1 when I came back as I heard some strange sounds. I hope they didn't keep an eye on me..
After all a nice 59km tour to the location and back home on a nice sunny Sunday (at least at the beginning).

Found 11 November 2006 cezanne found the geocache

I went to bed late and in compensation got up late as well. After my weekly shopping, I decided to visit this cache. Unfortunately, the weather has recently the tendency to be not that nice on weekends and to be very nice at days when I have to work.

I parked at the suggested coordinates though in retrospect it might have better to park at the location where Deejay58 had parked in his first attempt. The suggested coordinates are the better choice for those who prefer to minimize the invested time and the walking distance - the other location is probably the better choice for those who feel not that comfortable in leaving their car at the suggested coordinates (this will certainly also depend on the time when one visits Stage 1 and whether or not other people are in the area).

I would not like to visit Stage 1 at night. I am wondering for which purpose this location has once served. It reminds me of another location in the same area which has something in common with this location. (I cannot become more specific as it might lead to spoilers.) In any case, I start to wonder about the apparently high concentration of such places in this area. Does anyone know more about the background?

The task at Stage 1 was easy to solve. I quickly continued as suggested in the cache description. At the small graveyard I learnt something I have not been aware before. It was my frst visit to this graveyard. The task to be solved there was again an easy one. In contrast, I hesitated a little bit about the solution to the next task (Stage 3) - in my personal perception the location does not lie right at the path, but just close-by. Since no other candidate location showed up until I reached the next stage, I decided that the value to which I had attributed a question mark must be the right one. The next two stages were no surprise to me as I had guessed already to which locations the description would lead me. (I have not been in the area before, but I own a very detailed map of the region around the cache location.)

For a moment I hesitated about which way to take from Stage 5 to Stage 6, but then apparently took the correct one. At the old giant I was puzzled for a moment because I did not find a sentence, but then I realized how the text is to interpreted. I continued my way and easily found the path of enlightenment. There I had to reread the description a few times until I finally understood at which position I need to start respectively stop with the counting. The final task at first left me puzzled, but after two minutes of thinking I finally understood which name was meant and where it was to be found. My troubles came from the fact that at first I had misunderstood the temporal relations in the text.

As I had already written down all variables during my walk, there was nothing to calculate at the last but one stage of this cache. Due to the unfriendly weather and the fact that the walking distance until this point was very short, I refrained from taking a seat and continued directly to the cache area. There I had to search for a while - the reception was very bad and I did not have brought the spoiler photograph with me. The cache container (which looked somehow familiar ) and its contents are in good condition.

I liked the idea to describe the intermediary stages with words and do refrain from using coordinates. I also liked the fact that this cache is a multi cache and thus sets a counterpoint to the recent trend towards an increased number of traditional caches. The walk was nice, but could have been longer. Thank you, WSB_TLU for hiding a last cache in your old home region. I am looking forward to new caches of
you in your new home region and wish you all the best for your start there.

Found 08 November 2006 JulieWood_Rabat found the geocache

Hallo miteinander

*hmpf*

Also wieder nach Hause, Zettel geholt, was gegessen und wieder zurück.
