Heute auf meiner SevenSummitTour bei diesem Cache vorbei gekommen.
Der Berg war schnell erklommen und so konnte ich mich auch in das Logbuch an diesem doch recht netten Ort eintragen.
Ohne den SevenSummit Cache wäre ich sicher nie hier vorbei gekommen.

Die Macht sei mit euch.

Ich habe mich, bei windigem aber trotzdem sehr sonnigem Wetter, heute auf den Raas begeben. 
Ich gebs zu, mein Hund hat mich auch ein bisschen raufgezogen . Ich war nicht der Einzige am Raas. Es gab ein paar Begegnungen, aber nach dem Studieren des Logbuches im Cache und dem Gipfelbuch waren es definitiv keine Cacher.

Der Cache selbst war ein rascher Fund.

Hinauf ge-raas-t, raas-ant gefunden und geloggt.

Ganz schön anstrengend wenn man die ganze Sache zu schnell angeht, aber eine schöne kurze Wanderung nach der Arbeit, jetzt bin ich endlich mal auf meinen Hausberg maschiert. Die Gegend oben hat nix mehr mit der am Foto zu tun, Paula hat dort gründlich durchgefegt, der Cache ist aber in einem Top Zustand. Ich hab ihn ein bisserl besser abgedeckt wie vorgefunden, da immer noch Waldarbeiter direkt neben dem Versteck arbeiten. Sollte aber trotzdem leicht zu finden sein.

Hallo miteinander

Heute hab ich mir für siesen Cache Zeit genommen. In er nähe des Gipfel sind momentan die Waldarbeiter beschäftigt. Das Cache Verstack wurde aber nicht berührt.

Der TB musste wegen Holzarbeiten mit mir wieder ins Tal wandern.

This cache attracted my attention already when it showed up. What a relief to come across a cache that invites for a nice, but not difficult walk after so many quasi drive-in caches, 5* mystery caches and caches with a too high terrain rating for me.

Today I managed to find the time to drive to Raas. I came from the direction of Thanhausen and although I should know the route to the castle and further along in direction to Einöd/Ponigl quite well, I took again a wron turn and some point and had to take a detour. Thereafter everything went well. I was happy that no other cars were present at the suggested parking coordinates despite the nice weather.

At the beginning the small path was not always easy to see, later on it became easier. I do not know where hman27 started - from the point where I started the distance to the cache is only about 1.5 km as the crow flies. I enjoyed the walk up to the summit of the Raasberg very much. I have never been before in this area and was astonished about the idyllic atmosphere.

After having arrived at the summit cross, I headed off for the cache which I found quickly at a characteristic place. I like hideouts like this one where it is not necessary to search around for a long time. The cache container and its contents are in good condition.

After a short break, I returned to my car. In the last part I somehow lost the small path and returned in a trackless manner to the road. I was glad that my GPS-r told me in which direction I had to continue to arrive at my car (it was only 100 meter away, but without GPS-r I would have had to use a trial-and-error approach). Despite my bad physical condition and the fact that I have to take special care when walking downwards, I arrived at my car at about 1.5 hours after my start. So this cache is also well-suited for a short and relaxing afternoon walk.

Thank you very much for hiding a cache in this very nice area. Up to now this is my clear favourite among all caches hidden by Pr3ach3rman. If there existed more caches like this one, I would not think about stopping my geocaching activities. The only disadvantage of this cache from my personal point of view is that it is already quite far from Graz.

I think that 2.5* would describe the difficulty of the terrain more accurately.

Was gibts schöneres als am Sonntag Vormittag ein wenig Morgensport zu betreiben.
Ein schöner Aufstieg und ein nettes Platzerl zum Rasten beim Gipfelkreuz, was will man mehr.

Seit 15 Jahren war ich nicht mehr am Raas, da ich der Meinung war das nur Forststrassen rauf führen.
Durch diesen Cache wurde ich eines besseren belehrt - zumindest ein schöner Waldweg führt auch rauf.

Ich war heute bereits der zweite Besucher - Bastard Dan habe ich um 1 1/2 Stunden verpasst.
