The Sandharlanden heath is located on a hill which was covered by sand at the end of the last ice age. Because of the dry soil, no farming was done on this land but pastural agriculture. In thies heath you can find a kind of vegetation which is not very common in the south of Germany. Only the grazing sheep can prevent the area from being totally covered by bushes. Iy you are lucky, you may see a flock of sheep here.

This cache is located in an nature reserve. Please behave appropriately. You dont't have to leave the path or to damage any plants or soil in order to find and recover the cache !
You may park your car at the entrance of the heath. Simply follow the path and answer the following question when the opportunity arises:
- How many different species of wild bees ("Wildbienen") were at least discovered in this area ? => A
- This nature reserve has the shape of which letter ?
- "T" => B=6754
- "S" => B=7898
- "C" or "U" => B=5621
- "N" or "Z" => B=8833 - What is the name of the trail you are walking on at the moment ? The number of pre-hyphen letters = C
- In which year this nature reserve was founded ("Ausweisung") ? The sum of the digits = D
- How many hectare is the area of this nature reserve (before the year 2000) ? => E

Heute zum Feierabend sind wir vor dem Regensburger Gewitterstarkregen geflüchtet und haben uns die Heide angeschaut.
Ein sehr interessantes Biotop.
Die Fragen waren gut zu beantworten und das finale Doserl gut zu finden.
Vielen Dank für's Zeigen der Harlandener Heide und matürlich für diesen schönen Cache!

Da jetzt wieder beide Doserl im Versteck waren, habe ich die überzählige entfernt und der anderen ein frisches Logbuch spendiert.
