Mr. Ant likes ferries.
The Maas (Dutch, German) or Meuse (French, English) is a 925 km long river which has its source in the Haute-Marne département of France. It enters the North Sea between Rotterdam and Antwerp as part of the giant Rhine-Meuse-Scheldt delta.
To log this virtual, you will need to take a picture of yourself or your GPS on or in front of the little ferry that crosses the Meuse between Lottum on the left side and Lomm on the right. Furthermore, you will need to note down the maximum allowed number of passengers (bottom number on the sign on the upstream side of the ferry), which is the code to log.
The ferry does not sail during the night. Ferry schedule and ticket prices can be seen here.

Nachdem ich bei meinem ersten Cache kein Glück hatte bin ich zu später Stunde noch hier hin aufgebrochen. Als ich an den Koordinaten ankam sah ich das die Fähre nicht mehr im Betrieb war und auf der anderen Seite fest gemacht hatte. 2 Mal an einem Tag kein Glück zu haben war dann doch zu viel für mich. Nachdem ich beschlossen hatte nicht auf die andere Seite zu schwimmen, sondern mir eine Brücke zu suchen ging die Suche nach dieser los. Die wahrscheinlichste Idee habe ich genommen und wurde dort auch fündig.
Natürlich war es schon zu dunkel für vernünftige Fotos, aber dennoch füge ich 2 dem Log bei.
Vielen Dank für den Cache, es war wirklich schön so meinen ersten Cache in den Niederlanden zu finden.

Anschließen ging es mit dem Rad weiter auf Erkundungstour;-)
