Münchner Gespenster 2: Der Goldschmied am schönen Turm (NFC)

About the location:
The beautiful tower, whose former floor area is still visible as a square made of somewhat darker paving stones in the middle of the pedestrian zone, is closely related to an unhappy story that happened here about 500 years ago. At that time there was a richly ornamented tower, which housed the hangman bell at the very top. Next to it was a small goldsmith's atelier. One day the foreman worked on an especially valuable piece of jewelry. When he got back after lunch, the jewelry had vanished without any trace. Since burglary could be ruled out, the goldsmith was sentenced to death. On the way through the tower to the gallows (which was, by the way, located near today's Arnulfstrasse) he exclaimed, that the tower bells he had made himself would prove his innocence. It happened as it had to happen: Roofers discovered the jewelry in a magpie’s nest on the bells a few years later. They got it out and the bells ringed by themselves.
In the meantime, the beautiful tower had to yield to the pedestrian zone unfortunately and the hangman's bell was moved to Old Peter. Only a stone figurine at a corner house (opposite to the hunting and fishing museum) is reminiscent of the goldsmith and where the beautiful tower once stood, passers-by repeatedly report on a strange aura, as if they were just being observed. Can you feel it? ;)

About the cache:
Required ECE: NFC reader app on a NFC-enabled smartphone *

The cache is a NFC tag (sticker with chip; white, small, round, approx. 2 cm in diameter) in which an email address is stored. Simply activate the NFC function and the app on a smartphone and hold it quietly as possible for about 3 seconds above the chip. This is how you can find out the email address. Write your log entry to this email address. You will receive the log password as an automatic answer and can use it to log the cache virtually.
