On the way to Westside-Story (Hochplettspitz) you find an new viewingpoint.
From Unterach follow direction Edelkastanienwald up to Jubiläumsbaum.
In serpentines you climb up to the forest road and cross it.
Follow the path up and hike a bit on a forest road.
Suddenly you stand in front of the observation deck.
A fantastic panorama awaits you.
And the cache - a few meters behind the platform.
Of course you should also add the Westside-story

There are different ways to get to the top and the platform.
Hiking from Oberwang - or by bike on the forest road from Egelsee or Loibichl ...
but according to the information board you should get off your bike on the hiking trail to the summit.

Die heutige Wanderung zur Hochplettspitze führte mich fast direkt an dieser Dose vorbei. Da musste ich sie natürlich suchen.
Super Aussicht, danke fürs Zeigen.

ha trovato la geocache
Dieser Wanderung hat sich heute echt ausgezahlt. Wirklich wunderschön
der Blick da runter ins Tal. Gestochen scharf war heute die Aussicht.
Ein rascher Keksfund...äh Cachefund. Aber die Dose schaut so aus als
ob.. Naja, mussten die eigenen Kekse ran und mein Punsch dazu. Fönwetter
heute und direkt warm zeitweise. Eigenartige Stimmung. Absolut
empfehlenswert, wir sind über den Edelkastanienweg rauf.

Und auf OC ist das auch noch ein FTF 🤣
Sehr gemütlich ging heute die MTB Tour von w & t von Aichereben um den Hochplettspitz. Der Gipfelausflug hat dann nicht stattgefunden, schließlich steht da so eine komische Verbotstafel, vor allem konnte ich t aber nicht davon überzeugen. Hier hat man aber eindeutig schon ein Highlight der Tour erreicht. Die Kombination aus Aussichtsplatz und Pausenbankerl ist ein architektonisches Musterstück, der Cache dazu ein, wie bereits beschrieben, Wohlfühldoserl. Entsprechend lasse ich wieder einen FP da, auch wenn ich nun endlich mich um mehr Leitplanken Tradis kümmern muss. Vielen Dank!
