A picture from Bettmeralp
The location
Next to the chapel "Maria zum Schnee" (Maria to the snow) is a famous viewpoint on the Bettmeralp. With a good weather you have a great view of the surrounding mountains and the village. Located in the middle of the village, it is only a short detour from the main road.
The task
The chapel is photographed by two webcams every 10 minutes from two different directions. Your task is to have one of the two cameras photograph you in a way that you can be recognized on the picture. You will be very small on the fotos. Therefore you have to hold up something big so that you are clearly visible and the photo can be considered taken for this cache. Holding up a towel or a bigger backpack like in the examples is one way to do this.
You have to save the photo you have taken and attach it to your log. Only photos taken with one of the webcams are valid.
Take a look at the two sample photos with the corresponding enlarged section. You should do something similar, but feel free to be creative. Further additional photos from on site are welcome and prove your stay there, but are not absolutely necessary.

Both webcams, and a few more, are listed on the Aletsch Arena Webseite. The images update approximately every full 10 minutes.

AlcheMister
found the geocache
Wer hätte das gedacht? 816 Tage nach der Veröffentlichung schafft es der AlcheMister doch auch noch diesen zu loggen. Und er ist der Erste!? Wir verbringen alle unsere Ferien zu jeder Jahreszeit auf der Alp. Sie ist für uns ein zweites Zuhause geworden. Letzten Sommer wurde die Trockenmauer vor der Kapelle saniert. Dabei wurde die gesamte Mauer abgetragen und neu geschichtet. Ebenfalls abgetragen wurde das Dach der Kapelle. Es erstrahlt nun mit neuen und noch hellen Holzschindeln. Hier ist jedoch ein kleiner Fauxpas passiert: die Schneestopper wurden nicht montiert. Nun ist wegen der Dachlawinen ein Teil des (Kinder-)Schlittelhangs gesperrt. Auf dem Logbild steht der AlcheMister gleich rechts vom Kreuz. Den Rucksack neben sich, so dass er noch ein wenig breiter erscheint;) Danke für den Cache. AlcheMister
