Safari & log-condition:
Find your avatar in "real life"™ on a sign which is more common and not as unique as yourself.
The avatar has to match that one on the plate in colour, shape and design.

Either: Your avatar has been used in your geocaching-profiles since at least one year.
Or: New-born avatars have to stay in the profile at least one year after you log this safari.
Or: Find your talisman, which you use for logging safaris and keep this on for at least one year to come.

Plates of one-man-business', handpainted or self-designed signs ain't acceptable!

Diese coole Idee unseren Avatar zu suchen setzten wir gleich mal nach der Ankunft auf unserer Lieblingsinsel um.

Diese Statue hat folgenden Hintergrund:

Jeder der nach Fanø kommt passiert nach der Fähre die berühmte Skulptur der Fanø Fayence Hunde, wahrgenommen werden diese aber meist erst bei einem intensiveren Besuch von Nordby und dessen Hafen.
Zwischen 1850 und ca. 1900 war es fast schon eine Pflicht der heimischen Seeleute diese Hunde als Souvenir für Frau oder Freundin aus England mitzubringen. Diese haben alle ein ähnliches Aussehen mit typischer schwarzer Schnauze, hellem Fell, dem etwas abwesenden Blick und Auftreten nur als Pärchen.
War der Besitzer auf See wurden sie so plaziert dass sie aus dem Fenster blickten, war er wieder in der Heimat wurden sie umgedreht und sahen ins Haus. Daher hatte auf Fanø als typischer Seefahrerort praktisch jedes Haus zwei dieser Hunde im Fenster und auch heute ist das noch durchaus üblich.

Man findet diese bei N55° 26.980 E8° 24.445

Meinen Avatar auf einem Schild zu finden, war relativ einfach, wusste ich doch, dass im Zoo Hannover ein Wombatschild ist.
Das Schild befindet sich an den Koordinaten N 52° 22.936' E 009° 46.348'

Jede Menge dieser Schilder gibt es natürlich in Australien, aber für einen Safari-Cache war mir der Weg zu weit ;-)

Meinen Avatar 1:1 im "echten" Leben zu finden, dürfte unmöglich sein, da ich dieses Strickmännchen vor vielen Jahren mal selbst gekritzelt habe.

Zu meiner Überraschung fand ich in Leck bei einer (neuen?) Selbsthilfeeinrichtung eine Figur, die meinem Avatar verblüffend ähnlich sieht.

Finden kann man diese Einrichtung bei N54 46.734 E008 58.793

Mein Avatar kann man tatsächlich in der Öffentlichkeit finden,
wenn man zur richtigen Zeit am richtigen Ort ist.
Nicht immer, hauptsächlich in den Sommermonaten.
