Built in 2003 you have afamous panoramaview over the complete Salzkammergut. So by the way the 885 m high Lichtenberg reach the 900m.
You can come there with car, bike or trough a nice walk. From St. Georgen turn right at Thalham (the second exit - follow the Signs!) From ther you have approximately 4,5 km to the top.
There's a parking lot by Berghof Danter - a nicely tip, where
you can celebrate your successful search!
For sure, there are some nice Forestroads and trailpaths to the
top. For example: Coming from N 47°56.375 E 13°27.411 you can
follow the forestroad for 3km, then a short steep trailway leads to
the tower (follow the marks).
At sunny days this is a very busy place! Chase them up the tower , the cache is not up there!
You find the cache directly in/at the tower! For unexpected nonfinding :
7-UP : You find a tip there - maybe for some
people it's easyer to reach the cache ;)
Take no risk! The Cache is 0% in danger location (except to be
viewed from geomuggels)!

Heute ist ein Ausflug ins npg Land am Programm. Normalerweise mache ich Caches ohne Motorisierung, aber die Gegend ist mit Öffis schwer bis gar nicht zu erreichen und für das muskelbetriebenen Cachemobil ist das zu weit weg. So wurde heute mit dem Auto ein npg Cache nach dem anderen angesteuert.
Das ist ein wunderschöner Aussichtsplatz. Die Warte ist erstaunlich hoch, sodass man einen herrlichen Rundblick hat. Da versteht man, dass der Owner durch die Hölle gegangen ist, denn die Hölle in ihrer gesamten Breite liegt da einem gegenüber.
Die Dose ist gut versteckt. Es zahlt sich immer wieder aus, das Listing genau zu lesen, dann findet man auch die Dose gut.
Danke für die Führung zu diesem wunderschönen Platzerl.

Die erste Tour des Tages führte uns zu diesem Aussichtsturm. Eine sehr Dosenleere Strecke bis hierher. Bis auf diese Dose vor Ort, gab es nichts und die Such nach der einen gestaltete sich recht schwierig.
Nachdem ich hier erfolglos am suchen war, dehnte ich meinen Suchradius aus, aber die Dose wollte sich nicht zeigen. Irgendwann rief ich nach Hilfe und wurde zeitnah erhört. Tatsächlich hatte ich hier, gut 26m im OFF, auch schonmal geguckt, allerdings nichts erkannt. Erst als ich jetzt zupackte, erkannte ich die Tarnung und konnte abschließen.
Schade das die Dose soweit im OFF ist.
