In Judenstein, part of Rinn, we can find some old foundations.
You can see where the door for the entrance was, the gates for the garages and the pit, where the fireengines were serviced.
This was the fire-fighting school for Tirol and Vorarlberg from 1943 to 1951.
The tyrolian fire-fighting school started in 1932 and was situated in Innsbruck.
When in WWII innsbruck was bombed by airplanes in 1943, the school was evacuated after a hit from innsbruck to this place.

Bitte bei Statusänderungen, die auf geocaching.com durchgeführt werden, auch immer hier den Status ändern.
Dieser Cache ist auf geocaching.com (GC70M38) archiviert und hier nicht mit dem Attribut "OC only" versehen. Das letzte Funddatum liegt lange zurück und das Ownerlog auf geocaching.com läßt darauf schließen, dass der Cache repariert werden muss. Aus diesem Grunde archiviere ich ihn auch hier. Sollte später der Cache vom Owner gewartet werden, so kann dieses Listing durch ihn selbständig über ein "kann gesucht werden"-Log reaktiviert werden.

Schon sehr beeindruckend, wenn man mal die Grundmauern abgeht und die Details anschaut. Das ist mir in den letzten 17 Jahren nie aufgefallen, obwohl ich jedes Jahr hier vorbeiging.
Leider war auch der Cache eine Ruine :-( Da hat wohl jemand wissen wollen, was da drin ist ohne sachgemäß Zugang zu erlangen. Schade. Die Trümmerln konnte ich sicherstellen, das Logbuch leider nicht mehr. Danke für die trotzdemige Logerlabnis!

Während unserer gemeinsamen Runde mit Bergfeuerjack und Lincoln Rhyme um Judenstein und Rinn kamen wir auch an diesem Döschen vorbei. Die Grundmauern sind noch gut zu erkennen.
Dieser Cache hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Ich finde solche interessanten und liebevoll gemachten Finals toll.
Dieser Cache kommt zu meinen Empfehlungen.
Danke fürs Herlocken und für den schönen Cache.
