Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens
Now & Them
Barrie lived close to Kensington Gardens and published his first Peter Pan story in 1902, using Kensington Gardens for inspiration.
In his Peter Pan tale, The Little White Bird, Peter flies out of his nursery and lands beside the Long Water. The statue is located on this exact spot: in Kensington Gardens to the west of the Long Water.
Fairies, squirrels, rabbits, mice and climbing up to Peter, who is stood at the top of the bronze statue.
Now:
Use your smartphone to magically bring to life the100-year-old statue. Swipe your phone on the nearby plaque to get a personal call-back from Peter Pan.
To log this cache, you have to complete 2 tasks:
1.) You need a password!
It is the last date on the bronze plaque on the ground (in the same spelling).
2.) Use your smartphone!
Send me an e-mail (see my profile) and report what Peter Pan has said to you. (Does not have to be the exact verbatim!)
Backup: In case the technique fails, you can send a fotolog. The photo shoud show yourself or a personal item next to the statue.
After sending the email, logging is allowed. You don't have to wait for any confirmation.

Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens
Our second day in London. This time we went back into the hustle and bustle, but only briefly to discover some small gardens. Finally once again over the Millennium Bridge along the Thames. This can was also controlled and discovered and a nice reason to be on the road and enriched our vacation. Now it conjures up a smile at this point and on our face 😏

Vor Ort angekommen, mussten wir feststellen, daß es mit der Logbedingung schwierig wird aber Dank des Owners ist es nun doch möglich gewurden.

Schade, das so wenige nur noch Interesse an Opencaching haben. Ich schaue eigentlich immer in neuen Gegenden, was ich so machen könnte. So viel mir natürlich sofort auf, das in London ja so gut wie gar nichts los ist, was OC Angehet. Umso mehr erfreute es mich, heute hier im Kansington Garden zu stehen und diesen Cache zu machen. So erledigte ich meine Aufgabe, so gut ich konnte. Vielen Dank für den Spaß

Wir haben London für ein paar Tage besucht.
Bei einem unserer Spaziergängen haben wir einen Abstecher zu Peter Pan gemacht.
Ich war so fasziniert von den Details der Statue, dass ich ganz vergessen habe, ein Fotolog zu machen

Hurra!! FTF 
Welch eine Überraschung als ich bemerkt hatte, dass das Listing von OC kommt, also eine deutsche Besitzerin hat! Aber warum nicht, immerhin ist nicht allzu viel Pflegeaufwand erforderlich 
Eine schöne Bronzestatue, die dort im Park steht. Und eine interessante Geschichte, die ich nicht kannte. Somit stand ich nun am Ursprungsort von Peter Pan! Und natürlich habe ich mit dem Smartphone über die Plakette gewischt und auch dem geneigten Logleser möchte ich mitteilen, was Peter Pan zu mir gesagt hat:
"Du machst genau das Richtige, um nicht erwachsen zu werden.
Cachen ist die sinnvolle und das Kind im Manne erhaltene Hobby.
Mach weiter so! Und nun logge endlich diesen Cache!"
