This series made up of 4 mini-multis and one bonus will lead you around the small quiet village of Echthausen.
The village is situated between the Ruhr valley and the first hills of the Sauerland. The path are mainly easy to travel but close to the finals they will get a bit more difficult. The series is manageable for older children; dogs are also welcome. The duration of the whole round will be 2.5 hours. Of course, the single caches can be solved each on its own, but the bonus is only accessible if you have collected the correct hints from the four caches.
The last 500 metres are not accessible by car.
This part of the village was flooded after the bombardment of the Möhne dam in WWII. To find out the coordinates of the final, you have to know the date of “Operation Chastise”.

Bei eisigen -12° C bin ich heute morgen diese Runde der Mini-Multis um Echthausen angegangen.
An der Station 1 war ich als Jugendlicher sehr oft, schon schön, wo man durch das Cachen mal wieder hinkommt.
Die
Ruhr war teilweise zugefroren, im Eis knackte es ganz ordentlich und
weitere Eisplatten die die Ruhr herunter trieben schoben dich auf das
Eis drau. Es war ein schönes Schauspiel.
Bei den Temperaturen konnte ich das Finale dann muggelfrei heben.

Station 1: lag ein wenig im off, laut unserem Navi hätte es mindestens 4m im Wasser gelegen, aber nach ein wenig suchen konnten wir sie doch finden. Der Inhalt ist nass geworden aber sonst konnte man alles lesen.Den Final haben wir dann schnell gefunden. Viele Grüße an die beiden Mitcacher Geizklüse und Onos.

Mit den nötigen Info`s ausgestattet war das Finden kein Problem.
