There are 12 Long-Distance-Pathes in Europe connecting 60.000 km trails and people togehter. One of them is the E1. Starting in Finland it passes Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland into Italy. On its length of 7.000 km the E1 is marked with this sign:

Safari & log-conditions:
• Find a sign of the European Long Distance Path E1.
• Take a picture of it and personalize this by holding someting unique into the camera.
• Upload the picture and name the coords of the place where it was taken.

In Pforzheim bei
N 48 52.625 E 008 41.940
startet der bekannteste Fernwanderweg im Schwarzwald: der Westweg wurde 1900 vom Schwarzwaldverein als erster Fernwanderweg angelegt und führt einmal von Nord nach Süd oder umgekehrt durch den Schwarzwald. Er ist Teil des Europäischen Fernwanderweges E1 vom Nordkap nach Sizilien.

Ich wohne zwar fast am E1, heute bei einer Cachingtour, kam ich bei "N 50 08.940 E 008 37.661" jedoch an einer schöneren Stelle vorbei.

Hier auf der Etappe 8.04 von Oberursel-Hohemark nach Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen, kreuzt der E1 die Nidda.

Im Vordergrund mein Bikel.

Mehr aus Zufall konnte ich in der Nähe von Trollbek/SH den nach Süden führenden Hinweis des E1 entdecken, hier verläuft er zusammen mit dem E6.

Bemerkenswert fand ich, dass es sich in dieser Ecke um Aufkleber in dänischer Sprache handelte.

Dieser Hinweis konnte bei N54 25.935 E009 37.317 gefunden werden.

Der E1 führt im Odenwald bei Wilhelmsfeld auf den Schriesheimer Kopf, auf dem der Teltschikturm steht mit einer grandiosen 360°-Aussicht. Eine Infotafel zeigt den Weg an. Danke für die Safari.
