Der Cache wurde auf Geocaching.com vor über einem Jahr archiviert, weshalb ich vermute dass die oc Variante auch nicht mehr exisitert. Wenn dem so ist lieber Owner bitte auch hier archivieren.

Das Rätsel war nicht so schwierig. Vor Ort war ich jedoch zunächst völlig ratlos. Erst nachdem ich den Hint endlich verstanden hatte, konnte ich den Fokus soweit einschränken, daß eine Suche zielführend erschien und es im letzten untersuchten Planquadrat schließlich auch war.

Die Koords waren schon lange ermittelt, und heute hab ich mich mit CrazyGustav auf die Suche gemacht.

Also als am besten geeigneten der 4 Möglichkeiten würde ich das nicht bezeichnen.
Nach kurzer Nachfrage beim Telefonjoker im Dunkeln und zum Glück ohne Polizeikontakt gefunden.

Die Lösung war ein Gemeinschaftsprojekt mit Frustus, bei dem ich die NDW-Komponente beisteuern durfte. Zu viert versuchten wir dann den Cache zu heben, was auch mit Telefonjoker nicht gelang. Des Nächtens mit Handytaschenlampen in Gebüschen in einer Siedlung herumstirdln ist halt nicht so jedermanns Sache...

Nachdem wir aufgegeben hatten und zurück zum Auto spazierten, machten wir dafür Bekanntschaft mit einer von einem Anrainer gerufen Polizeistreife. Wir haben das Prinzip des Cachens erklärt und sind übereinstimmend (4 Cacher, 2 Polizisten) zu der Erkenntnis gekommen, dass wir, selbst wenn wir irgendwo einbrechen wollten, die entsprechende Frage eines Exekutivorgans vermutlich verneinen würden.

Hübsche Polizistinnen gibts übrigens in Weiz... :-)

PS: treffen sich nicht in jedem Punkt der Erde ein Längen- und ein Breitengrad...?

After having visited three nice caches in the area of Weiz, I decided to revisit this nightmare cache to get it off from my nearest list.

In short, today I found the cache. I would probably have found it earlier if I had ignored almost everything which is written in the cache description and the logs of the hider of the cache. The cache is definitely not located at the best suitable hideout among the candidates which are implied from the description. In my opinion, it is just an arbitrarily selected place. Moreover, it is very difficult to retrieve the cache in Summer time. Today it was a little bit easier.

The nicest thing about this cache was that there were many beautiful trees in blossom near the target area.

Tjo im Sommer hat sich die Suche wirklich um einiges schwiriger gestaltet!
Mit hilfe von Taschenlampe und dem zielsicheren Blick von Meliponini schnll gefunden!

Als wir im Sommer das erste Mal bei der Cachelocation standen, war ein Suchen unmöglich (zu viele Terrassen-Sitzer und Abendsonne-Genießer). Heute bei einbrechender Dunkelheit überraschenderweise recht schnell gefunden.

As I am not interested at all in the style of music which is underlying the first part of this cache, I had put it away for a long time. Nevertheless I had a good guess about the target area as not too many combinations of A, B and C lead to reasonable coordinates in areas where muggles are to be expected. (By the way, I am wondering whether moving the cache 1 degree to the West might have ended up in a better hideout.)

After my successful cache tour today, I decided to visit the target area. I am sure that I was at the right place as the details provided in the description including the fence all fitted. I was warned by the problems experienced by previous visitors of this cache and thus I also knew that the most striking hideout closest to the perfect coordinates is not the correct hideout of the cache and just a sort of fake (I guess that hixx had that location in mind).

I am not sure how the cache description is to interpreted. - there are too many degrees of freedom. This cache is like a double mystery cache combined with an easter egg hunt - aftre having solved the first puzzle, another puzzle which is much harder as it is of the fuzzy-type waits to be solved. The fence has more than three corners. In the vicinity of the corner which is closest to the X.000 Y.000 coordinates I could not find a suitable hideout which is not located on ground which belongs to private houses. I am not willing to search in such an area. I then walked quickly around the fence - I could not find a convincing place and it is not clear to me how one could decide which location seemed most suitable to the cache hider. Personally, I feel that the whole area is not suitable for a cache, and in particular not for one hidden on the ground. There might have existed some better alternatives by using a magnetic cache container or another specially tailored solution.

In any case, I gave up after a few minutes and decided to drive home. From my personal point of view it is not worth to invest more than a few minutes into this cache.
I feel that several things are wrong with this cache. In my opinion, a cache that is hidden in such a public area needs more accurate coordinates. Since the cache is not hidden at a confluence point anyway, it would not have changed the character of the cache if the offset from the confluence point were provided. In this manner, it might also have been possible to choose a more attractive hideout (as I do not know the hideout I use the judgement of the previous finders).

Die Idee die hinter diesem Cache liegt, ist eigentlich nicht schlecht, aber das Versteck des Caches und die doch relativ große Abweichung vermasseln alles wieder. [xx(]

Die Idee gefällt mir grundsätzlich gut, leider hapert's ein bisserl an der Umsetzung.
Die Pseudokoords zeigen gar zu weit weg, deshalb den cache nicht schon früher gelöst, doch nach erbrachter Lösung war's heute nach der Arbeit so weit.
Leider sind die cachecoords 50m off und das Versteck ist lieblos und schlecht. Ein schönes, neues Versteck kann diesen cache aber leicht retten, evt. eines in dem auch ein TB Platz hat, um der Microflut entgegenzuwirken.

Als der Cache online ging hab ich beschlossen mal in aller Ruhe die ersten Logs abzuwarten. Joe Cocker hatte ich nicht zur Hand und Codo wollte ich mir ums verrecken nicht anhören.

Also hab ich mir mal die Formel vorgeknöpft und dann ruckzuck halbwegs plausible Koordinaten gehabt. Bin dann mal zum Ziel gefahren und hab nix gefunden. War aber auch zuviel los um gründlich zu suchen. Heute hab ichs nochmal versucht und den Suchradius nach WW's Hinweis entsprechend erweitert. Ich weiß nicht ob die schönen runden Koordinaten eine Ungenauigkeit von mehr als 50m wert sind.

Als der Cache gefunden war, hab ich das Fahrrad als Tarnung missbraucht. Fällt nicht so auf wenn man so tut als ob man am Bike rumfummelt.

Beim zweiten Versuch gefunden - bei Versuch eins habe ich mich vom falschen Versteck im Eck ablenken lassen.
AC/DC hätten sich ein Versteck in interessanterer Umgebung verdient.
