„Haus Lüttinghof“ is a historical monument with more than regional significance in the sense of the law of protection of historical monuments. It is situated in a nature reserve. It is moated and consists of three islands. On the first island you will find the former central restoration works of the Landschaftsverband Westfalen-Lippe, on the next you will see the castle built between the 14th and 18th century, on the last there is the former garden. “Haus Lüttinghof” is first mentioned in a document in 1308. Available documents show since that time seven families have lived in the castle. The gothic chapel on the first island was demolished in 1974 due to dilapidation, the ground plan is still visible on the lawn. On the right hand side of the entrance gate you can see a small gabled house dating from 1850-1860; this was probably used as a dog kennel.
The walk will lead you along the moat. The last part is not suitable for prams.
Parking at N 51° 37.129‘ E 7° 02.293‘.
Near the car parc look for the stones that were clearly used in the four former mills.

Potztausend… in Polsum waren wir ja schon lange nicht mehr… zuletzt im November 2015.
Grund genug also um, Schnee❄️ hin oder her ⛄️,im Team mit DickeEhre, RW71 die Reise in den äußersten Südwesten Marls anzutreten um auf „Dosen.Einsammel-Tour“ zu gehen.
Aufgesucht haben wir…

Was soll ich schreiben…?
Die Tour war ein voller Erfolg. 😁
Sämtliche aufgesuchten caches konnten im Regelfall zügig, mal nach kurzer Suche gefunden, geborgen und das Logbuch signiert werden.
Ausnahmslos alle gefundenen caches waren in einem einwandfreien Zustand.
Ich hoffe, die Owner verzeihen mir meinen Einheitslog. 🙈🙊🙉
Dies ist kein Ausdruck geringer Wertschätzung sondern
mangelnde Kreativität des Finders beim Schreiben des Logs.
Allen ownern ein dickes DANKESCHÖN fürs legen und pflegen der Dosen.

Ich bin aus Buxtehude zum Giga Wochenende in Essen angereist.
Leider war die Cachebegrüßung in Essen etwas dürftig. Kurz vorher
wurde viel deaktiviert.
Da ich aber auch noch ein paar Dosen in dieser Region sammeln wollte,
studierte ich die Karte und fand dabei diese nette Ecke.
Auf der Runde traf ich dann später auch noch auf HeMa13 aus Holland
und Team spooky98. Liebe Grüße an alle.
Auch diesen Multi haben wir im Anschluss an die Runde gesucht.
Es hat mich gefreut, dass diese Dosen nicht deaktiviert wurden.

Danke an den Owner. Ursprünglich wöllten wir ja in der Burg Kuchenessen, den gibts aber nur sonntags, nicht etweder schon am Samstag.Insofern war einer gefundener Cache natürlich eine kleiner Trost.

Obwohl ich sicher war, alle Zahlen korrekt ermittelt zu haben und auch die Rechnung stimmen sollte, lagen die finalen Koordinaten mitten im Wasser.
Dank des Hints konnte ich dennoch fündig werden.

Auf Grund das dieser Multi in der nähe von einem anderen Cache den wir gemeistert haben lag und wir noch einwenig Zeit hatten bis die Dunkelheit herein brach, haben wir halt diesen Cache auch noch ebend schnell erledigt! Zumal ich auch noch ein Neuling mit dabei hatte, hat er sich um so mehr gefreut das er gleich 2 Caches auf einmal machen konnte! TFTC
