Naturecaching

This logo show you sights of nature and natural phenomena. The logo is not bound to a cache type. (This can be be a traditional, a multi or a pure virtual...) The important thing is that listing and location have informative and educational content. Once a password is required for logging, can be dispensed to make a picture. Otherwise please always upload a photo as Logproof. Maybe - like Earthcaches - it is also possible to answer questions, to get the log release. Fore more information look at the Listing! Other caches on this subject can be found under this search.

Please be careful, the area can be full of potentially dangerous places!

The best season of the year to enjoy "Cobijeru" is at spring or summer with high tide.

Cobijeru Cave

On the eastern side of the depression where the beach is formed, found Cobijeru Cave, of karstic origen. This cave also communicates the coast at sea level, with the higher inland area through a gallery that includes a large cave hall with significant formations subject to the tide levels. Around the depression forming the beach, the limestones of the substrate are covered with a layer of Quaternary deposits which form a fertile ground.

Please answer the questions:

  1. What is the difference between a karst cave and other caves?
  2. Are there deposits of deposits (stalactites, sintered flags) in the cave? And how do they arise?

Please send the answer to my email address (in profile). You don't need my confirmation about the correct answers to log. Please log your visit directly. If there is some problem about the matter I'll contact with you.

 Additionally:

Take a photo of you and/or your GPS from the caves end.
