Fritzlar is a small town in the north of the state of Hessen, Germany. It has a history of more than thousand years (1279, to be exact). Recently, the local authorities started to promote tourism, but there are still some quiet places to see.

There used to be a regular cache at the place with the above coordinates, but it was stolen serveral times, so I `replaced' it with a virtual cache. Answer the following questions:

1. How many towers of the old fortification are visible from this place?
2. When you look down, you see a complex of both new and old buildings surrounded by a wall. What is the name of this complex?
3. The wall right behind you belongs to an outhouse of the Fritzlar cathedral. What is the (current) purpose of this outhouse?
4. Near the rear entrance of the cathedral (right around the corner) is a wooden statue that holds a book. What is special about this book?

Dieser Cache ist seit mehr als einem Jahr „momentan nicht verfügbar“; daher wird er automatisch archiviert. Er kann vom Besitzer jederzeit instand gesetzt und reaktiviert werden.

Der Ort ist leider abgesperrt (wahrscheinlich wegen Baufälligkeit) und nicht mehr zugänglich.

Unterwegs auf Radtour und in Fritzlar übernachtet. Nach dem Essen noch ein wenig die Stadt besichtet und muggelfrei gesucht und schnell gefunden.
