300 metres above the river Enns on the brink
of the 'Sulza'-plateau the 'Gansergrotte' is located.
In the middle of the 19th century millstones were made of this firm
conglomerate rock.
You can combine the cache with a walking-tour
on the 'Gasteiger Rundwanderweg'.
Here you can find more information.
If you are in a hurry you can park only a few metres underneath the
grotto.

Das war wieder etwas Tolles für unsere bam-bams. Nicht nur aus
cachetechnischen Gründen sondern aus purem Interesse an der Höhle. Die
Mühlsteine von hier bis ins Tal zu schleppen, muss eine ganz schöne
Herausforderung gewesen sein.

Um Gottes Willen - was ist denn das für eine Einöde!
Der 'Owner' musste mich sogar von der Bundesstrasse abholen, weil ich sonst nicht hinaufgefunden hätte.
Das war im Jahre 2001 und der 'Owner' war der Bauer von der Sulza.
Seither verbringen wir alljährlich die Pfingstferien auf diesem wunderschönen Fleckchen Erde.
Der Cache war natürlich Pflicht. Nach verbissener Suche in nur 40 Minuten gefunden...
