Description Deutsch · English
Today only ruins can be found where once the small village with its two farms were located in the Kaliningrad Oblast / Russia. The families along with the laborers had to flee from the advancing Red Army end of January 1945 over the Baltic Sea through Pillau (today: Baltiysk). For more info visit: www.ponacken.org
The cache is hanging from an old chestnut tree (the only one nearby). This tree once decorated the stairs to the residential building 'Robert Huuck'. Its ruins are still clearly visible even after numerous combats and lootings.
