Actual the starting coordinates should be located in the Faculty of Informatics and Mathematics of the University of Passau, but that's too far away (N 48° 34.013 E 013° 27.090). These would have geographically nothing to do with the final, but would thematically be totally right, because without knowledge of prime factorization and spherical geometry there will be no chance.

10 April 2009 SDBH-R found the geocache

Nachdem D jetzt in der 6. Klasse die Primfaktorzerlegung gelernt hat, mußte H nur noch mit ein wenig Sinus und Cosinus helfend eingreifen [;)], so daß wir bald ein wirklich schönes X in Google-Maps sehen konnten.
Bei der Fahrt ins Osterwochenende dann zu viert einen kleinen Waldspaziergang gemacht und die Dose bald gefunden.

Dritte!!!
Mit etwas (oder eher ziemlich viel) Starthilfe und nach einigen Abstürzen meines tollen LIDL-PCs während diverser Rechenversuche hab ich´s dann doch endlich geschafft und bin der Lösung bis auf ein paar Meter nahegekommen. Heute dann mit "Mo" gemeinsam auf Tour gegangen - und nach einer halben Stunde Bäume-im-Wald-Suchen: Yuppdada!!!
Aber eins muss ich schon sagen: das war ´ne harte Nuss!
