Den Parkplatz war recht gut gewählt, und es war eine nette Kurzwanderung zum Cache.
Aussicht war ganz toll.

Den "Mikro im Wald" mussten CrazyGustav und ich aber etwas länger suchen, weil wir auch ein altes (mittlerweile nicht mehr verfügbares) Spoilerbild mit hatten.
Etwas größer hätte die Dose schon sein können.

Musste hier zweimal ausrücken. Beim ersten Mal hatte ich bis auf ganz viel Optimismus keinerlei Hilfsmittel dabei. Vor Ort stellte sich dann aber schnell heraus, daß es ohne ein Mindestmaß an Hinweisen praktisch unmöglich ist, hier einen Micro zu finden. Zu allem Überfluß konnte ich mir nichteinmal über die Position ganz sicher sein, da ich die Frage B ehrlich gesagt nicht lösen konnte. Den Namen hab ich wohl herausgefunden, aber woher soll ich bitte wissen, welche Person *ähnlichen* Namens der Autor dabei im Sinn hatte? Also waren da zehn mögliche Positionen, von denen ich zwar die allermeisten ausscheiden konnte, aber 100% sicher ist man sich da ja auch nie. Auch mancher Bericht hier, auf den ich mich gestützt hatte, war rückblickend betrachtet eher irreführend als nützlich.

Aber lustig wars irgendwie doch. Als ich zum ersten Mal an der Location vorbeikam, dachte ich so bei mir: "Was für ein schöner Platz! Wieso ist da noch kein Cache? Da muß unbedingt einer hin!" Also hin, alles abgekraxelt, geschaut, gestaunt. Oh! Ah! Aber gut jetzt, ich muß ja schließlich noch einen Cache finden, also weiter. Nach 100 Metern denk ich mir, aufs GPS könntest eigentlich auch wieder mal schauen, und siehe da: Distance to Next: 100m zurück.... Aber diese beknackte Technik mit ihrem ganzen Annäherungsschnickschnack sagt natürlich auch keinen Ton. Grmpf.

Am nächsten Tag hab ich beim Owner um zusätzliche Hinweise angefragt und auch gleich eine kleine Beschreibung bekommen. Damit bin ich heute nochmal losgezogen und es hat wunderbar geklappt.

Hallo miteinander

 Nachdem Angi im Mutterschutz alle Bücher fertig gelesen hat sind wir Heute zu diesen Cache gefahren.

 Obwohl wir das Spoilerfoto dabei hatten (Danke an den Cache Owner) war das finden kein problem. Der Cache ist in gutem zustand.

Jetzt ist schon wieder was passiert. Aber der Sommer ist eine herrliche Zeit, da gibt es Caches und alles, und weiß ein jeder das im Sommer das Leben erwacht. Da hat es am Anfang niemand glauben wollen, daß er auf einmal gefunden sein soll. Aber so ändern sich die Zeiten. Am Schluß hätten wir Coins gegeben, wenn es nur halb so lang gedauert hätte, wie es am Anfang ausgeschaut hätte. Und das ist nur eine Woche später gewesen, immer noch Sommer, den hat es in dieser Woche ja fürchterlich verregnet, überhaupt zum Vergessen, aber Besprechung 1A! Und wenn man uns so gesehen hat, wie wir in der Grillstation Löschenkohl (Wir waren wirklich dort, quasi echt!) gegessen haben, hätte man auch nicht leicht erraten wieso es uns dann zur Location verschlagen hat. Ehe hätte man uns für Ausflügler gehalten, die den Sommertag für eine Fahrt ins Grazer Umland genutzt haben. Und schon hast du das Gefühl, dass die Welt noch ein bißchen in Ordnung ist.

Lang hats gedauert aber wir haben ihn doch gefunden. Und wir sind mächtig stolz drauf! Bei einer Frage haben wir monatelang mit Dr. T.´s Support team geknobelt. Mann, war das heute ein tolles Gefühl!

Waldschratdank für diesen echt tollen Cache rund um WH und die sensationelle Location.

Also das war so: Ich habe alle Bücher gelesen. Wirklich alle und daher zu faul. Aber BalkanSabranje war auch in Wiener Neustadt und dann Angebot. Cachewarten gegen Koordinaten und ich keine Skrupel.

This is the second cache from the AL-series that I found. When I include also the first TB-cache of theplank, then it is my third literature cache that I managed to visit. I am wondering when I am going to find a literature cache which deals with an author whose writing style I appreciate. (AL01 would be a good candidate, but that cache is far away from where I live.)

When I saw the cache, I knew immediately with which author it deals with. I have to admit, however, that I am not that fond of WH, so I did not have his books at home. Unlike for the RPG cache, I had, however, no problems in obtaining the books I was in need of. Everything was found rather quickly - I was a bit sloppy when obtaining C (sometimes using modern approaches pays off when compared to old-fashioned ones), but the effect of my mistake on the coordinates was not dramatic.

Because I was not at all motivated to search for a film canister in an area where I suspected that thousands of hideouts would exist, I asked for spoiler photographs and received them from BS/2 (thanks ).

It was a nice walk to the cache location - I have been there previously, but my last visit was a few years ago. The GPS reception was not that bad in the target area, but as I had expected that there existed many possible hiding places. After looking around for a while, I decided to have a look at one of the spoiler pictures. It helped me to identify the right area and to shorten my search which was convenient since rainshowers were approaching. Nevertheless I extended my walk a little bit further to visit another place where I have not been for a while. Thereafter I returned to my car.
It started to rain on my way back, and the view was not good at all, but I still enjoyed the walk.

Thank you for this nice cache in a nice area. From my point of view a larger container would have been nicer for this cache, but on the other hand the cache will probably not have that many visitors. From my point of view, this cache can also be recommended to cachers who are typically not fond of the AL-series as WH is an author who is for example much easier to read as KK. This is not an urban micro cache and also no drive-in cache so it should be attractive also to cachers who like to hike or ride a MTB (note added: even if it is not allowed as almost everywhere in Austria away from roads).
