Am roten Rain

Remark:
The cache tour is continued with the multi – cache “Im Nonnenrod” and the Bonus – Cache “Am roten Rain + Im Nonnenrod”. At a total distance of about 6 km (including the way back to the parking ground) this three caches and additional Bayer’s “Memorial – Site” can be visited.

The given coordinate ist not the final cache coordinate, it only marks the start of the track, or better, of that, what is still remaining from the further track. The trail guides you along the “roten Rain”, which means “red hillside” in english, passing two more stations before reaching the final cache.
Please respect, adequate and waterresistant foodwear is required for this location, also at flood water of the river “Fulda” it might be difficult or impossible to reach the cache. Your best clothing is not the best choice for this track and tick protection is recommended.
Because the loaction, the GPS signals are very low, therefore is at the first (the start position) and the second station in each case a tree marked with the sign of geocaching.de (a G with a cross in its center, red colored). On the ground around the tree you will find a flat stone, written on the coordinates (decimals) of the next station. At the third station you should hopefully find also a tree, marked with the described sign. Directly viewn from this tree you should find the cachebox in 355° (magn.) in a distance of about 10m.
At all really easy and you should have some fun on the trail.
Further on, you are passing a rest area and also the cache loaction is a nice place to stay a little time.

The cache box contains the cache – log, a pencil, a sharpener and the north – coordinates of the Bonus – Cache “Roter Rain + Nonnenrod“, all this should stay in the box.
